Welcome to Athens, ‘City of the Gods’! You are met at the airport and transferred to your tour hotel. Later, join your fellow travellers for a Welcome Drink.

Your sightseeing tour this morning includes a visit to the mighty Acropolis to admire the Parthenon, built to the honour of the goddess Athena. You also see the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of the Wingless Victory and Hadrian’s Arch - a magnificent list of treasures from the Classical age. The afternoon is at leisure. ( BB )

  

Board your cruise ship and set sail for the lovely island of Mykonos with its dazzling sugarcube houses and white-washed windmills. Tonight the maze of walkways, welcoming tavernas and nightlife are yours to explore. ( BB,L,D,S )

  

Dock at the Turkish port of Kusadasi to visit the bazaar or perhaps take an optional shore excursion to the ancient ruins of Ephesus. Sail to the island of Patmos where St John the Devine was exiled by the Emperor Domitian. It was here during his two year stay that he recieved his vision of the Apocalypse. Tonight enjoy a Greek Evening and Dinner with entertainment. (BB,L,HD,S )

  

Sail to Heraklion on the island of Crete, the site of the ruins of the Palace of Knossos, home of the mythical Minotaur. Later dock beneath the sheer cliffs of Santorini. Experience the island’s capital of Thira, with it’s cliff top restaurants and cafes, breathtaking views and amazing sunsets. ( BB,L,D,S )

  

Disembark this morning and transfer to your hotel where you are at leisure. Relax, shop or ask about an optional excursion to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.
