After lunch ANGKOR SILK FARM, Located in Puok district, 15minuetes drive from Siem Reap airport, on 8 hectare site, mulberry fields, silk worm breeding and silk weaving using traditional Khmer knowledge are highlights at the centre. You will see how silk is traditionally worked in Cambodia, how mulberry trees are grown to provide feed for silkworm raising. You will observe artisans at work, removing the silk thread from the cocoons and working the thread prior to traditional weaving. Continue to BAKHENG HILL, Sunset viewing on top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area, this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat. Dinner at local restaurant, one hour stop visit NIGHT MARKET & PUB STREET, overnight in Siem Reap.

 

 

Breakfast at the hotel, we visit BANTEAY SREI, 35Km from Siem Reap, The name, relatively modern, means “Citadel of the Women” or perhaps “Citadel of Beauty”. Next visit fabulous TA PROHM , this sprawling complex is famous for its jungle-like, ruined atmosphere, and the giant trees which rise from the stone, gripping the temple in their extensive roots. Lunch at local restaurant.

 

Afternoon visit: THE SOUTH GATE OF ANGKOR THOM including: BAYON TEMPLE, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. THE ROYAL ENCLOSURE, PHIMEANAKAS, THE ELEPHANT TERRACE & THE TERRACE OF THE LEPER KING. Lunch at local Restaurant.

 

Continue to ANGKOR WAT: The “7th Wonders’ of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Buffet dinner with Khmer traditional Show, overnight at hotel.

 

 

 

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Phnom Penh by express coach.

 

Arrival Phnom Penh, meet and greet. Lunch at local restaurant and check in to hotel.
