See many fern filled gullies and river inlets on your journey. Travel the length of the Great Ocean Road passing towering limestone cliffs, sweeping white beaches and stunning forest scenery. Truly one of the world's great scenic coastal drives. Witness a fabulous spectacle of massive natural erosion. Contrasts abound between rugged coast and verdant rainforest living side by side. See the amazing Twelve Apostles - limestone stacks rising dramatically from the Southern Ocean and visit the Information Centre. Walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the scenery from various viewing platforms. See Loch Ard Gorge and be swept away by the romantic and tragic story of love and lives lost aboard the Loch Ard. Explore Port Campbell National Park. Discover the tragic history of over 50 ships wrecked along this rugged coastline. Continue beyond Port Campbell to the remnants of London Bridge. Don't forget extra film as we embark on a number of great photo locations including Razorback and Island Arch. See the spectacular night lights of Melbourne as you cross the West Gate Bridge.
 
2) Ballarat & Sovereign Hill

The past is very much present in towns like Ballarat whose early wealth and proud history was due to the mighty gold discovery of the mid 1850s. The glorious legacy that gold bestowed on this colonial town is still evident in the respectfully restored buildings and atmosphere of proud Ballarat. Sovereign Hill in Ballarat is a perfectly re-created example of Gold rush life during Victoria's Golden era. Explore the daily ritual of this Gold town and stroll the main street to visit with goldsmiths, crafts people, traders, soldiers and the like. Find your own fortune whilst panning for gold in the stream, go "underground" to the fascinating Gold mine and museum or ride the stage-coach through the village. Exhibits and displays unfold before you as you stroll though this bustling pioneer township. Have a chat to the gentle town folk and be captivated by the friendly outlook on their 1850s daily life.
 
 
3) Phillip Island & Penguin Parade
Departs: Melbourne Daily

Enjoy your tour to Phillip Island, home to an astounding array of wildlife, including Australia's largest fur seal colony, the Little Penguins and cuddly koalas. Enjoy getting close to koalas and kangaroos before joining the Little Penguins at dusk as they emerge from the surf and waddle to their burrows. Visit Warrook, a working cattle farm in the prosperous Gippsland region. Enjoy the opportunity to pat and feed kangaroos, wallabies and a host of farm animals. Encounter koalas in their natural habitat at the Koala Conservation Centre. Stroll along elevated boardwalks and spot koalas in the trees. View spectacular coastal scenery at the Nobbies, two rocky outcrops abundant in marine life. From the walkways you may be able to catch a glimpse of Australia's largest population of fur seals living along the rugged coastline. Browse through the educational Phillip Island Visitors Information Centre. Learn about the little penguins and life on this stunning island. Watch the Little Penguins as they battle the surf and make their way to their dune burrows and learn of the environmental and conservation methods that are initiated to ensure the remarkable wildlife and vulnerable geology of Phillip Island remains protected. See the Little Penguins up close as they return to their nests to greet their young families and view the powerful southern coastline with its clean, sandy beaches and rocky shores. Inclusions: Entrance into Warrook, admission to Koala Conservation Centre and the Penguin Parade. Note : Nobbies viewing is seasonal and dependant on daylight hours.
 
4) Yarra Valley & Puffing Billy & Wildlife sanctuary

Relax and enjoy the great scenery of lush ferns and dense forests of the nearby Dandenong Ranges. En route visit the Beautiful Sherbrooke Forest, home to lyrebirds, crimson rosella, cockatoos and kookaburras. Look out for these native birds. Enjoy the picturesque mountain villages scattered along the way and the spectacular views of Melbourne's skyline. Ride the restored Puffing Billy Steam Train for a memorable journey on Australia's most notable narrow gauge railway, tour the Yarra Valleys beautiful verdant hills and prosperous vineyards. Your guide will escort you among Australia's unique birds and animals in the natural bush land setting of Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary, Australia's premier wildlife and nature sanctuary and home to over 200 species of Australian birds, mammals and reptiles. Get up close to koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, cockatoos, parrots and many more and witness the amazing and exciting Eagles Fly demonstration within the sanctuary. See the renowned nocturnal house with the shy platypus and stroll through large aviaries and pond areas.
